The Palfinger truck mounted forklift allows the collection vehicle to self load.  This independence makes out of hour collections possible to avoid traffic congestion in busy areas.  This can be done using secure containers or areas that allow the operator to access the recycling material at times when normal everyday traffic and pedestrian levels are low. 


Out of hours collections allow quicker loading as well as reduced journey times between collection points providing savings in both time and money.  Double shifting can also be achieved to provide higher utilisation of equipment.
