Collect away from the LGV

Problem - Self Unloading systems that are fixed to the LGV (tail-lifts, truck mounted cranes, hook loaders, skip loaders) dictate that the vehicle must be manoeuvred to near the container / material being collected.  This process can be slow and requires large amounts of room often resulting in the recycling centre being shut during this process.

SolutionA Palfinger Crayler truck mounted forklift is independent from the collection vehicle.  This allows the LGV to be parked in the most convenient position and then the TMF can drive to the collection point.  The smaller and more manoeuvrable TMF causes much less inconvenience and disruption during the loading process often allowing normal operation of the site to continue
