Palfinger cruise to handling solution at Port of Tilbury

Captain Richard Exley from the Port of Tilbury, London had a handling problem that was solved by the Palfinger F3 151.

The Problem - Cruise ships need to be unloaded and loaded as quick as possible.  The added complication was a grade 2 listed  floating dock limiting the weight of handling equipment.

The Solution - The perfect solution was found in the Palfinger F3 151 with a low deadweight permitting operation on the floating dock.  Loads could be quickly and safely taken down to and from the ships own loading ramp.

Captain Exley commented 'The Palfinger has excellent manoeuvrability and a low deadweight.  Combine this with the all round visibility of the centre seating position the Palfinger was the obvious choice'
